Haryana BPL List 2019 – Income Limit Raised for Beneficiary Family
The Chief Minister of Haryana ManoharLal, on 21st August announced the augmentation of the limit of family income limit for the people who wants to be the beneficiary under the Below Poverty Line. In order to get into the BPL list the family income of the beneficiary will be 10,000 rupees to 15,000 rupees per month. The step was taken so that government can include the eligible candidate under the BPL list who can avail various benefits from the state government.
While attending an event of BPL ration card distribution the Chief Minister addressed the people of the state. At that occasion CM distributed ration card to 37 new BPL beneficiaries. On that very day 56,315 beneficiaries got their ration cards. The beneficiaries from 22 districts and 68 VidhanSabhas received their ration cards.According to the Chief Minister of the state, it was a historic day, because after 11 years the people living under the below poverty level got ration cards at a grand event. This step would help the beneficiaries to avail the benefits henceforth.
Benefit of the step
The step will work for the welfare of the poor people of the state. The ration card will help the people to avail the facilities provided by the government for the sake of the people; like, wheat, sugar, rice, oil, on a subsidized rate. The ration card will be provided to the families whose family income is 1.80 lakh per annum and this would bring the eligible candidates under the radar.
The Chief Minister also askedtothe registered beneficiaries for BPL and Antyodaya Anna Yojana who have crossed the limit of family income of 15000 rupees per month to opt out from the facility so that the needy people can avail the facility. Apart from that, CM MonoharLal also said that, in order to escalate the process the authority will prepare yellow and pink card for the BPL beneficiaries of Haryana. The eligible BPL candidates will get the cards from their nearestAntyodaya Kendra after providing all the details.
Progression of the work
Apart from that, the authority will work on the pending 1.40 lakh of pending online registration. The Additional Deputy CommissionersandDeputy Commissioners will look into the case so that it would finish on time. By the time of clearing of the pending registration, the online application will be continued as before. The Chief Minister said that, till now cards of the 26 lakh families reside in Haryana have been prepared.Among the 26 lakh beneficiaries 56,315 beneficiaries received the cards and 10.60 lakh AAY card holders are yet to receive their cards. Though the CM said the number will increase after the augmentation of the limit.
According to the rules, the BPL candidates will get help from both the state as well as the central government. The BPL candidates get 2 liter master oil at 20 rupees per liter whereas; the market price of mustard oil is 116 rupees per liter. In that case the remaining 96 rupees is provided by the state government of Haryana. The government has started various schemes so that the marginal people can live a better life. In order to make the benefits under those schemes, the government of Haryana has started campaign to prepare IDs for the BPL families.
According to the government authority this step is recognized as one of the significant exercise carried out by the government. Through the step the people of the state will be immensely befitted. The people who lived into the abysmal point of poverty were being deprived off the welfare that was provided by the government. Now with the announcement of the augmentation will make the government to include more BPL families of the state under the list. The Chief Minister of Haryana also added that, to make the procedure fast and accurate a transparency will be maintained, and for that there will be a physical verification.
